Dare one hope that the Aston Villa season is back on track? After a far from ideal start, the side has remained unbeaten since the Crystal Palace loss and are winners of three straight across all competitions.
More importantly, perhaps, Unai Emery's men are beginning to play better together and are starting to show some of the chemistry that was expected earlier on for a team that had many returning pieces.
There is now a good chance for Villa to cap off a better end of September and beginning of October heading into the international break.
By all means, Burnley will not simply go down. They are a recently promoted side that may be at a disadvantage during each match, but Burnley will certainly give a fight for the full 90 minutes.
If Villa allow themselves to have a letdown performance, another bad result could very easily be in the cards.
This is why it is so important for Villa to show some of the same qualities that have been on display as of late and to capitalize on the renewed and improved overall form.
Potential chance for Aston Villa
It has certainly been difficult to this point in the campaign for the players to find too much to build off and to consistently find positive play to achieve the needed results.
Depending on how the rest of the season goes, the opening stretch of the campaign could end up being viewed as a simple rough start. October will be important. When looking ahead to some of the upcoming fixtures, the immediate match against Burnley is certainly one that Villa can ill afford to lose out on the three points in.
