There had to be a shakeup from Thomas Tuchel following the latest England win over Andorra. Although Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins remains on the bench, two of the Villans who have been called up for this international break will see action as members of the starting XI.

Ezri Konsa and Morgan Rogers came off the bench during England's 2-0 victory over Andorra. Now, the German manager has deemed it best for the pair of Villans to be part of the fixture from the opening whistle.

The challenge is expected to be significantly harder for the Three Lions compared to what has been faced up to this point by the side that is led by Tuchel.

The inclusion of the Villa players should lead to two important aspects. For one, if and when Serbia attempts to catch England off guard, the experience and composure of Konsa should make it so that Jordan Pickford will be more comfortable than what he otherwise would have been.

Having Rogers in the lineup from the beginning speaks to the overall lack of killer instinct that has been witnessed from England to this point. Granted, this is something that has been said for a while now regarding the national team.

Potential of Aston Villa midfielder

Even so, Rogers is someone who has the ability to play with the needed free spirit in the final third. It has been Noni Madueke who has impressed the most to this point in that area of the pitch. For England to do well against the better teams, someone else will need to join the Arsenal player in actively looking to create something, particularly when the opposition takes a more defensive shape.

This is where the skill set of Rogers comes in. Even against a low block, the Villa man often shows the eagerness and ability to make life difficult for back lines.

Right now, England is looking for someone to step up and inspire. Tuchel could very well end up seeing this manifest in the form of a current Villa player.
