Aston Villa's January transfer target from the Championship has say on rumours

Aston Villa-linked Crysencio Summerville has said he is fully focused on his Leeds United duties amid links to a move away from Elland Road.
According to reporter Fabrizio Romano earlier this winter, Unai Emery's side are keeping track of his progress in the Championship. However, he didn't end up moving back to the Premier League in the January window and stayed at Elland Road.
Summerville, 22, has been a standout player for the Whites this season and is looking to help them gain promotion from the second tier under Daniel Farke.
He has had this to say about transfer links to Aston Villa, as per Voetbal Primeur: "When I have a meeting with my agents, I hear some things here and there. I think that's nice to hear. It indicates that I'm on the right track, that things are going well.
"For now I'm focusing on us goal and that is to put Leeds back where they belong: the Premier League. In the meantime, I don't want any distractions."
Summerville joined Leeds in 2020 from Feyenoord and has since established himself as one of their most prized assets now.
He has made 70 appearances for the Yorkshire outfit in all competitions to date and has scored 19 goals, 14 of which have come in this campaign.
Aston Villa's chances of landing him this summer are likely to depend on what league Leeds are in. They are currently battling it out with the likes of Leicester City, Southampton and Ipswich Town.
