Aston Villa's academy has produced some top talents over recent years and the club has plenty of young players to be excited about at the moment.

The Midlands outfit have a few individuals out on loan this season and have the chance to send out more in the next campaign.

Here is a look at five players who they should consider sending elsewhere in the summer when the next transfer window opens...

1. Sil Swinkels: Aston Villa landed the Dutchman back in 2020 from Vitesse. He could do with getting some regular game time under his belt.

2. Lamare Bogarde: He spent time on loan at Bristol Rovers in League One last term. The 20-year-old, who is a Holland youth international, needs to get some more first-team experience.

3. Chisom Afoka: The winger moved back to Villa Park in January following a spell at Bradford City. He struggled to make an impact at Valley Parade and has a point to prove now.

4. Omari Kellyman: Aston Villa swooped to sign him from Derby County in 2022. He has since played twice for Unai Emery's side and would see his development boosted by playing every week somewhere else, potentially in the Football League.

5. Kadan Young: The England youth international, who is 18-years-old, has risen up through the academy ranks and has been a regular for the Midlands outfit at various youth levels over recent times. He was handed his first professional contract in January 2023 which shows he is highly-rated.
