For all of the positives for Aston Villa, particularly with PSR, Philippe Coutinho is someone who has expressed his desire to have his immediate future already resolved to this point. Although there has not been anything official to this point, it is clear that all parties are in agreement as to what is needed next.

Everyone wants to see the midfielder at Vasco da Gama. Coutinho's time in B6 has come to an end, and that has been known for a while now. While a deal has not been completed to this point, as shared by Birmingham Live, Villa would like to now mutually work out a way to "terminate" Coutinho's current contract.

The main concern for Villa now is to get the player's wages off the books. There are only so many options that the club can do to help lessen the ratio of wages. Although the selling of the women's team and music venue will help in that regard, making moves such as this would prove to be a positive step toward helping Villa in this regard.

Departure from Aston Villa imminent

It is, moreover, a situation in which the Brazilian would like to stay in his home country. There is far from a desire from Coutinho's perspective to stay in the Premier League for any reason. Most likely, the desire of everyone will allow for something to eventually be agreed upon.

Part of the faults of the previous regimes before Unai Emery took over are being corrected now. At the time of Coutinho's arrival, there was some understandable excitement. The Brazilian had proven himself in his earlier days at Liverpool in the EPL. Considering where the midfielder is now in his career, though, it is simply time for him to move on altogether. This is something that shouldn't face too much resistance and is likely to be facilitated in short order.
