There have certainly been a couple of difficult aspects to witness when it comes to Aston Villa. That being said, a lot of the developments stem from the outside forces that aim to preserve the nature of the status of the 'big six' in the Premier League.

Even when looking across the EPL, though, it should become clear that the front offices of the Villa operations are at least in better hands compared to most.

Yes, the start to the campaign has not gone according to plan. There is an overall feeling of calm and levelheadedness that does not appear to be nearly as present when looking at the overall Premier League horizon.

Take the situation that unfolded at Nottingham Forest. Despite achieving quite a high level of success and proving to also be a thorn in the side of the very idea of the 'big six,' the club and Nuno Espirito Santo have opted to proceed in different directions. Ange Postecoglou is now slated to take over, but something does not quite feel right.

Despite achieving the needed results on the pitch, it is known that Nuno had clashes with those in charge at Forest.

Stability at Aston Villa through adversity

Contrast the situation at Villa. The club remains steadfast in its support for Unai Emery. It is universally acknowledged that there are factors actively working against Villa. Yes, everyone wants to see more than a point from three fixtures, but Emery continues to be backed and has the full force of the club behind him.

Even from the ongoing less-than-ideal situations, Villa manage to assist Emery to the best extent possible. Maintaining this level of trust and avoiding the feeling of panic is ultimately what will allow Villa to enjoy long-term success. It appears that many other clubs are too eager to move on, rather than letting something simmer into something positive.
