If things are going to work out for Jadon Sancho, it is going to happen at Aston Villa. There have been reported alleged issues for the winger from his loan stint at Chelsea.

The extent of what is true or the degree to which player issues impacted a relationship at a club is rarely truly known. An aspect that does tend to be universally true is that a change of scenery can often help all parties involved.

Clearly, things were not going to pan out with the Blues. His parent club, Manchester United appear entirely uninterested in mending ties with the Englishman.

Now at Villa, it is known how well Unai Emery does when it comes to fostering player careers and helping to revive careers after things appear to be over at other clubs.

If it is going to work for Sancho in one of Europe's first divisions, let alone in the Premier League, Villa is the spot for Sancho.

There was an oddity during the final moments of the transfer period. While most were focusing on what would come of the Emiliano Martínez situation, it was Sancho refusing a permanent move that ultimately prevented 'Dibu' from being able to join United.

New beginnings at Aston Villa

It is unknown what will come of Sancho's career following this current loan spell. Perhaps his initial reluctance to join the club on a permanent basis is due to the lack of direct experience in B6 and wanting to see for himself what things are like under Emery.

Either way, for now Sancho will help to get the Villa season back on track. Regardless of why he refused to sign a long-term agreement at the deadline, he will have a lot of motivation to give it his all and show that he truly can play at the Premier League level.
