Jacob Ramsey nominated for Premier League Player of the Month

Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey has been nominated for Premier League Player of the Month for September.

The Academy product played 157 minutes across two matches this month, scoring once and assisting on Leon Bailey’s match-tying goal in a 1-1 draw with Manchester City on September 3.

Ramsey scored the only goal in Villa’s 1-0 win at home to Southampton on September 16.

The other five nominees for the honor are Bournemouth’s Philip Billing, Tottenham’s Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford Everton’s Alex Iwobi.
