Coming into the Sunday fixture, Aston Villa have won three consecutive fixtures for the first time this season.

With fixtures coming thick and fast, Villa need to start picking up consistent wins in order to climb their way back up the table.

Burnley at Villa Park is a great game for this, with the Clarets sat two places below the Villains in 18th.

Villa will have a lot of the ball and Burnley will sit deep and try to counter when possible. This is Burnley's biggest threat.

They will look to use long balls to their wingers in an attempt to score with the little chances they have.

Jaidon Anthony and Loum Tchaouna are predicted to start again on the wings for Burnley, Villa's fullbacks are going to need to be on top form, with the pacy wingers always a threat on the counter.

They soak up the pressure and when the opposition over commits then that is their time to strike. Aston Villa need to be wary of this as they look to continue their winning streak.

Conceding goals hasn't been the main issue in Villa's rough start to the season. Scoring goals has been a problem, however Emery's side seem to be building a fresh connection and are starting to hit the back of the net. The Villains have scored 6 goals in their last three games.

This Sunday's fixture comes just three days after Aston Villa's Europa League victory against Feyenoord which is far from ideal, with multiple players unavailable from that fixture, and this one as well.

Needed continued trend for Aston Villa

Both John McGinn and Emiliano Buendía have scored in back-to-back games, with the two players looking to continue their goalscoring form into this weekend.

Aston Villa vs Burnley, Sunday at 2pm is a game in which both teams will be looking to capitalize on the others poor start and gain three points.
