Former Aston Villa winger Jaden Philogene has emerged on the radar of Crystal Palace, according to a report by HullLive.

The attacker was sold by Unai Emery's side last summer to Hull City in the Championship.

Philogene, 22, has since been a key player for the Tigers in the second tier as they eye promotion to the Premier League. The East Yorkshire club are sat in 7th in the table and are three points off the top six with a game in hand on Norwich City.

The England youth international has made 23 appearances in all competitions for the Tigers and has chipped in with eight goals and six assists.

He is under contract at the MKM Stadium until the summer of 2026, with Hull holding an option to extend his stay by a further 12 months on top of that, but Aston Villa have a buy-back clause if they are in the same league in the future.

Philogene played six times for the first-team of his previous club and was also loaned out to Stoke City and Cardiff City to get some experience under his belt in the Football League.

Crystal Palace could see him as someone to bolster their attacking options for next term and compete with the likes of Michael Olise and Ebe Eze for a place in the team.

The Eagles are also said to be keeping tabs on Jack Clarke's situation at Sunderland. Their new boss Oliver Glasner will be looking to put his own stamp on the squad.
