Aston Villa could launch a move for Luton Town defender Gabriel Osho this summer, according to a report by SportLens.

Unai Emery's side have been linked with a swoop for the centre-back along with fellow Premier League sides Fulham and Crystal Palace.

Osho, 25, has made 15 appearances in all competitions so far this season and has chipped in with two goals from the back.

He is out of contract this summer and is due to become a free agent at the end of June. The Hatters risk losing him for nothing and his future at Kenilworth Road will probably depend on what league they find themselves in next term.

Luton signed Osho in 2020 and he has since played 74 matches for the Bedfordshire outfit altogether, finding the net on five occasions. He helped Rob Edwards' side gain promotion from the Championship last term as they beat Coventry City in the play-off final at Wembley on penalties.

He has also been loaned out to Yeovil Town and Rochdale since joining the Hatters to get some experience under his belt.

Osho is a product of the Reading academy and played 10 times for the Royals' as a youngster, as well as having loan temporary spells away at Maidenhead United, Aldershot Town, Bristol Rovers and Yeovil to boost his development.

The Reading-born man would give Aston Villa more competition and depth at the back for the next campaign if they were to lure him to the Midlands. However, there is competition.

He would be a smart addition as he is a decent age, has experience of playing in the top flight and wouldn't cost anything.
