EFL boss hails 'ridiculous' player who Aston Villa sold last summer

Hull City boss Liam Rosenior has said former Aston Villa man Jaden Philogene's ability is 'ridiculous'.
The Tigers swooped to sign the England youth international on the final day of the summer transfer window and he has since become one of their most prized assets.
Philogene, 22, has scored seven goals and assisted five in his 17 appearances for the East Yorkshire outfit to date.
He has made the headlines over the past 24 hours after his rabona resulted in Hull's equaliser away at Rotherham United on Tuesday night. They then went on to win 2-1 with Noah Ohio scoring the winner.
Rosenior was quick to praise Philogene after the match and told the Tigers' official club website: "Ridiculous. His ability is something we missed for a long time. He’s only going to get better with the more games he plays.
“It’s not just his goal or his showreel moments, it’s his energy levels he gives the team – he works so hard.
“He’s got real belief he can be a top player but the reason he can be a top player is because he works so hard on his game. Jaden’s was one of many really good performances.”
Philogene's departure raised eyebrows among the Aston Villa faithful as he was expected to be in the first-team picture in this campaign.
He played for Unai Emery's side over pre-season but wanted senior football on a regular basis.
Hull have given him the platform to be the main man and he has really found his feet there after loan spells away at Stoke City and Cardiff City.
Aston Villa will be keeping tabs on his progress and the Londoner continues to catch the eye as the Tigers look to gain promotion to the Premier League. They were relegated back in 2017.
