Aston Villa will let goalkeeper Oliwier Zych spend the rest of the season on loan at MKS Puszcza Niepołomice, according to reporter Tomasz Włodarczyk on X.

The 19-year-old, who is a Poland youth international, was given the green light to head out the exit door at Villa Park on a temporary basis last summer to get some more experience under his belt.

Puszcza Niepołomice won the race for his signature and he has since made 11 appearances in all competitions for the Ekstraklasa side in all competitions so far in this campaign.

He has done enough to warrant them wanting to keep hold of him for longer and Aston Villa are seemingly happy with the progress he has been making out on loan. He is now due to return to the Midlands in the summer and Unai Emery will then have a decision to make on what to do with him next .

Zych moved to England in 2020 having previously played in his native country for Arka Gdynia and Zagłębie Lubin.

He has since risen up through the ranks at Villa and was handed his first professional deal in 2021. The stopper has played three times for the first-team.
