Aston Villa joined by Arsenal in chase for 16-goal attacker

Arsenal have joined Aston Villa in pursuit of Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville, according to Goal (via TEAMtalk).
Unai Emery's side have been linked with a swoop for the Championship ace at the end of this season as they look to bolster their attacking department.
Summerville, 22, has been in fine form for Leeds this term and has scored 16 goals in all competitions for the Yorkshire outfit, chipping in with nine assists.
His performances have helped Daniel Farke's side rise into the mix for automatic promotion alongside the likes of Leicester City, Southampton and Ipswich Town. They are currently sat in 2nd place and are a point behind the latter as they prepare for their upcoming match against Hull City at Elland Road on Monday night.
Summerville joined the Whites back in 2020 as a youngster from Feyenoord and has since become one of the club's most prized assets. Even if they are promoted to the top flight at the first time of asking this term, they could still face a battle to keep hold of him in the next transfer window.
The fact Arsenal are said to be keen suggests Mikel Arteta is in the hunt for some more wingers to add more competition and depth to his ranks.
Aston Villa could see Summerville as someone to inject some quality to their options on the wing ahead of next season as they chase down a place in the Champions League. However, there appears to be some fresh competition from the Gunners for his signature.
