Aston Villa will reportedly make a summer swoop for Besiktas attacker Semih Kılıçsoy, according to Turkish news outlet En Son Haber.

Unai Emery's side are being are being linked with a switch for the promising attacker but will wait until the end of the season to make their move.

Kılıçsoy, 18, is being tipped for a bright future in the game and could be seen by Villa as a long-term option at the top end of the pitch.

He played for Gop Venüs and Arnavutköy Yaylaspor before linking up with Besiktas back in 2016 and he has since risen up through the academy ranks of the Istanbul giants, representing them at various youth levels along the way.

The Turkey youth international penned his first professional contract last year and that deal has recently been extended until June 2027. However, his current club may face a battle to keep hold of him amid interest from Aston Villa.

Kılıçsoy has made 15 appearances in all competitions this season to date and has chipped in with six goals.

He could be someone to compete with Ollie Watkins up front for Aston Villa over the next few years as they look to qualify for Europe.
