Aston Villa goalkeeper secures League Two loan

Aston Villa goalkeeper Filip Marschall has joined MK Dons on loan, as announced by their official club website.
The former England youth international, 20, has been given the green light to link up with the League Two side on a deal until the end of the season to get some more experience under his belt.
He made the move to Villa Park in 2018 from Cambridge City and has since been a regular at various youth levels over recent years.
Marschall has made seven first-team appearances for Aston Villa so far in his career and has also been loaned out to Gateshead in non-league on two occasions in the past to boost his development.
He now has a chance to show what he can do in the Football League with MK Dons and will be eager to make the number one spot his own there. They are currently sat in 7th place in the table as they eye promotion to League One and are managed by former Newcastle United defender Mike Williamson these days.
Aston Villa have a break from the action this weekend and are back next Friday with an away trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea in the FA Cup.
