Aston Villa eyeing Bundesliga star along with Liverpool and West Ham

Aston Villa are interested in Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus along with Premier League rivals Liverpool and West Ham, as per a report by TEAMtalk (via Bild).

The Germany international, who has 10 caps under his belt so far in his career, has made 19 appearances in all competitions during the first-half of this season and has chipped in with three goals and two assists.

He is under contract at Gladbach until the summer of 2027 meaning they are under no pressure to cash in on him anytime soon and can wait for the right offer to come in for his services.

Neuhaus would give Aston Villa more competition and depth in midfield if they were able to lure him to England ahead of Liverpool and West Ham. He has proven himself in the Bundesliga over recent years and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him try and test himself in a new country and league in the future.

The Bavaria-born man started his career at 1860 Munich and broke into their first-team as a youngster before going on to play 16 games.

Gladbach then lured him away from the Grünwalder Stadion in 2017 and he has played for them ever since, albeit with a loan move away at Fortuna Dusseldorf to get some experience under his belt seven years ago.

He has made 190 outings for his current club and has been a great servant for them. However, other teams are being linked with him now including Aston Villa.
