Aston Villa attacking midfielder Jacob Ramsey has emerged on the radar of Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich, according to The Athletic.

The 22-year-old has made 14 appearances during the first-half of the Premier League season, chipping in with one goal.

Ramsey is under contract at Villa Park until the summer of 2027 meaning Unai Emery's side are under no pressure to cash in on him anytime soon unless an offer that they can't refuse comes in for his services.

He has been on the books at Aston Villa for his whole career to date and has risen up through the academy ranks of the Midlands outfit. The former England youth international, who is the brother of Burnley midfielder Aaron, had a loan spell away at Doncaster Rovers back in 2020 in the Football League to get some experience under his belt.

Ramsey has since broken into the first-team and has played 115 games in all competitions, finding the net on 13 occasions.

It would be a blow to lose him, especially to a league rival like Newcastle or Spurs. He is a decent age, has potential to grow and develop even further in the future and has proved he can be a key player for Aston Villa over recent years.

Emery's side have until the deadline on Thursday to conclude any final bits of business. It has been a pretty quiet month for them so far and they haven't rushed into any deals they don't see worthy of doing.
