Aston Villa's academy has been a breeding ground for exceptional talent, and the upcoming season could see three young stars save the club millions in the transfer market. With the team's Champions League commitments leading to a packed schedule, the integration of academy standouts Rory Wilson, Omari Kellyman, and Finley Munroe into the first team could prove to be a masterstroke.

Rory Wilson - Striker

18-year-old Rory Wilson has been a revelation since his arrival from Rangers in July 2022. The Scottish striker has taken Villa's academy by storm, finding the back of the net an astonishing 19 times in just 29 appearances across all competitions.

His goal-scoring exploits include an impressive 16 goals in 13 U18 Premier League matches and three strikes in 13 Premier League 2 games.

Wilson's natural ability to find the back of the net makes him the perfect understudy to Villa's main striker, Ollie Watkins, particularly with the potential exit of Jhon Duran on the horizon. The young Scot's knack for delivering in crucial moments means that Villa can maintain attacking depth without breaking the bank in the transfer market.

Despite not yet signing a new contract, Wilson's affection for the club and his progress under Villa's academy coaches underscore his dedication and readiness to make his mark in the Premier League next season.
