It would be criminal for me not to include Douglas Luiz on here as he is the most underrated midfielder in the league, in my opinion.

Douglas Luiz does what he does best on a consistent basis and this is controlling the play and breaking the lines between midfield and attack. He is a goal threat, as proven this season, and is the perfect person to be put in hihg-pressure situations as he has slotted home some great penalties this season.

While Villa do run the risk of losing Luiz in the summer transfer window, with some big-hitters lining up to try and sign him, Unai Emery will do everything in his power to keep the player happy. After all, he has been one of Aston Villa's best players this season, which goes to show why he has started most games in the Premier League this season.
