The pursuit of club goals and how the sides perform on a weekly basis is, of course, a big part of being a supporter. There is also a larger presence and impact that Villa have. This is true in terms of the community as a whole and specifically in the specifically tailored efforts of the club.

Players like Amadou Onana, Rachel Maltby, and Jacob Ramsey have stepped up during their respective 2024-2025 campaigns and made an appearance to help support local youth initiatives.

Aston Villa Women keeper Maltby joined in Dream Chasers FC and Wyrley Juniors FC training sessions. Part of the mission from efforts like what can be seen from these teams and Everybody's Game is to provide opportunities for all to participate in the beautiful game.

Particularly for communities that would otherwise be looked over, these types of coordinated activities allow for children to have a pathway to participating. For the aspiring girl players especially, being able to train and interact with Maltby is something that will further foster the aspirations of those striving to be involved across multiple aspects of the sport and throughout all levels of play.

Onana similarly showed up for the Aston Villa Foundation, Birmingham Impact FC, Green Lane Masjid FC, and Birmingham Youth Sports Academy activities. Helping the youngsters train as they worked through their drills, he also answered their questions and gave them positive, useful words of encouragement and advice.

Finally, Ramsey was named this season's Professional Footballer’s Association's Community Champion earlier. His work and time that he has volunteered through the Foundation have left a tremendous impact on local youth.

Lasting memories created from Aston Villa players

Going beyond the pitch and making a difference for up-and-coming talents is a continued focus of the club. By all means, there have been a number of such stories from the Villans throughout the season, beyond the above-mentioned three players.

Regardless of who is directly involved or when, the impact is the same. Being able to bring some brightness to a child's life and give something positive for local youth to look up to is what this game can bring and what all of these organizations strive to bring for the community. These types of endeavors should be applauded by all.Â
