A lot of positives are being more widely seen that are occurring at Aston Villa. Morgan Rogers getting his due is one of them. The attacking midfielder makes an excellent case for being one of the better players in the Premier League. In terms of young players in the EPL, he often outperforms others who tend to receive a disproportionate amount of media coverage.

This uptick in the attacker's stock has clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal reportedly looking into acquiring the England international. While the PSR aspect at Villa assumes that every player will be forced to leave B6, the reality of AVFC needing to wholesale everyone is overblown.

Despite the desires of the prospective suitors to poach Rogers, all signs from Villa indicate that he is staying put. Certainly, if there were to be an astronomical offer, Monchi and Unai Emery would consider accepting it. In terms of a regular sale, the club isn't going to just let the 22-year-old go just for the sake of balancing the books.

It does show how high others rate Rogers. He has had a number of excellent performances. This has been so much the case that when discussing him, it's more appropriate to remove 'for a young player' when talking about his abilities. The English player is simply an excellent attacker in the world's toughest league.

Nomination for Aston Villa field player

Fans will ultimately determine who wins, but Rogers has been nominated as an option for PL Player of the Month. Even in a 'starting 22,' he finds himself regularly playing from the opening whistle. With four assists and a critical goal in the 2-1 over Nottingham Forest, it's easy to see why his name is included among Harvey Barnes and Alexis Mac Allister for their April performances.

It's unknown what will happen over the next couple of months. Unless something very shocking and surprising happens, Rogers will remain in the claret and blue for a long time to come.
