Aston Villa appeal offers players a better overall atmosphere compared to other clubs

Players see what is going on throughout the Premier League and the big clubs around the world. They also notice when certain sides repeatedly and consistently cast away someone who is going through a rough spell or who isn't quite living up to expectations.

To an extent, it happens everywhere. After all, someone being brought in, particularly for a large transfer fee, is expected to produce for the club. At a certain point, if it isn't working out, then both parties are forced to move on.

The degree and leeway that something like that happens can differ drastically from club to club. This is an area where Unai Emery will have a considerable advantage moving forward. With the Spaniard, there is a proven track record of helping players to develop and be placed in a position to succeed at times when they otherwise wouldn't.

For that reason, even with some of the financial aspects at play, a player who has been spurned or who has a chip on their shoulder will be much more likely to want to come and play for Villa, depending on how things ended before their previous departure.

Something like that will also potentially help in negotiation and can help to ease a deal forward toward completion. This is not to suggest that an initial asking price would move so much to where it is now at a considerable discount or significantly less.

Looking at future implications for Aston Villa

Instead, knowing what comes with being at Villa and watching how the club conducts its business, there are less likely to be sticking points and a little more room for wiggle room where there otherwise wouldn't be.

Certainly the latest situation with Sverre Nypan shows that there will always be an appeal and gravity toward the Manchester Citys and Real Madrids of the world. It can be expected, however, that what was seen with Nypan should happen less frequently, and more often than not, Monchi and Emery will be able to secure their guy.
