3. Tammy Abraham – Striker, A.S. Roma

Last but certainly not least, Aston Villa should target former Villan Tammy Abraham in the 2023 summer window. Although he was here on loan, Abraham had a massive impact on the 2018-19 promotion campaign, scoring 26 goals through 40 games.

After leaving Chelsea in 2021, Abraham could seek a return to Birmingham as Emery is keen to sign a top-class striker this summer.

Abraham helped lead Roma to their first European trophy last season, winning the UEFA Conference League. The 25-year-old has scored 36 goals for Roma in all competitions since joining the club nearly two years ago, and has been a key piece in Jose Mourinho’s squad.

Abraham is an academy product of Chelsea, who have an option to buy the striker back from Roma this summer.

Although other top English clubs have interest in Abraham, a return to Birmingham is deemed possible according to reports. The forward could pair well with Ollie Watkins next season.

The young striker has seen success with Villa and was a fan favorite at his time with the club.
