1. Yassine Bounou – Goalkeeper, Sevilla

Yassine Bounou, who is better known as Bono, could be a perfect signing if Martínez is to leave Aston Villa this summer. The Moroccan led his country to the 2022 FIFA World Cup semifinals, and has shown great promise in becoming a top-tier shot stopper.

Although Sevilla have performed poorly in La Liga this season, the fault cannot be placed on Bono. The keeper has dealt with multiple managers, a poor defense, and a heavy workload throughout the season.

The 31-year-old showed his true ability on the biggest stage in the World Cup, conceding only five goals through six games. With a strong defensive line at Villa and an excellent coach, Bono could thrive if Martínez departs for a Champions League club.

Sevilla are currently asking for €20-25 million for Bono according to reports.

Martínez is still under contract with Aston Villa through 2027, and has not openly said that he wishes to leave the club. Bono would only be a necessary signing if the Argentine does leave, and it is unclear if that will happen.
