Aston Villa will travel to Premier League newcomers Bournemouth to open their 2022/23 Premier League campaign on August 6.

The entire league schedule was released on Thursday and for the second-straight season Villa start on the road against a newly-promoted side.

The Villans return to Villa Park on August 13, when they play host to Everton before heading down to London for a match with Crystal Palace on August 20.

With the 2022 FIFA World Cup scheduled to take place in November and December, the Premier League will shut down for over one month to accommodate the tournament. Villa visit Brighton on November 11 and break until December 26, when they welcome Liverpool to Birmingham.

An away match at Spurs on December 31 and a home tie with Wolves on January 2 wrap up Villa’s festive period slate.

A tough final stretch will see the Villa up against Manchester United (Apr. 29), Wolves (May 6), Spurs (May 13), Liverpool (May 20), and Brighton (May 28) in their final five matches.

Champions Manchester City come to Villa Park on September 3.
