Nineteen-year-old Cameron Archer scored his fourth Carabao Cup goal in Aston Villa’s third round tie at Chelsea on Wednesday evening.

Timo Werner broke a deadlocked match in the 54th minute, but Archer responded 10 minutes later, finishing off a Matty Cash cross with his head.

The sides played to a 1-1 draw at full time but Chelsea advanced via penalties.

Archer scored three goals in his first start for the Villa back on August 24. The forward accounted for half of Villa’s goal production on that evening in a 6-0 Carabao Cup second round tie at League Two Barrow.
