Grealish 7.0, Trezeguet 5.5, McGinn 5.5, El Ghazi 6.0, Douglas Luiz 5.0, Hourihane 6.0, Jota 6.0, Lansbury 4.5, Nakamba 4.5
Think there is one player in the minds of many Villa supporters when it comes to choosing their three players to represent their team. Jack Grealish was superb last season with eight goals and six assists to his name, topping both club charts, and creating 90 chances in all for his teammates.
The captain was the only player to surpass 100 points in last year’s Fantasy Football and will be the club’s mainstay if he remains with the club. Viewed as a snippet for £7.0million compared to the league’s top price players of Mohammed Salah (12.0), Sadio Mane (12.0) and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang (12.0).
Wingers Anwar El Ghazi and Trezeguet are both good options for inclusion with the two players likely to feature consistently if the squad stays as it is. The two players scored 98 and 93 points respectively with the Egyptian scoring more while El Ghazi provided more assists.
Douglas Luiz (90) scored highly for a defensive midfielder mainly due to his consistent run with the team, while Connor Hourihane (83) and John McGinn (84) will also be good options for managers looking for a good scoring option for a cheap price.
More from Claret Villans

That will depend on whether the Irishman and Scot can remain injury-free for the majority of the season as they spearhead the club towards their targets of the season.
My picks: Jack Grealish and John McGinn – The two players are deemed to be first names on the team sheet for many fans and, most importantly, Dean Smith and his management team. The two players contribute to the attack and there is potential to be inclusions on the goalscoring and assists chart in the first two games.
Douglas Luiz is also in high contention with myself, however I may have to wait for his inclusion after his pre-season started late when he was forced to quarantine upon arrival from his Brazilian holiday.
