The opportunity for Premier League fans to get involved with the game are currently limited. Watching Aston Villa and kicking every ball from your living room, instead of the Holte End, remains the current reality.

So, what better way for fans to voice their opinions and select their favoured players in their Fantasy Football league team.

The day has come to get your final team finalised before the first matchweek kicks off as Arsenal visit Fulham in the midday kick-off.

Our first game will begin on Gameweek 2 so it is likely that your favourite players will be featuring on the bench in order to get amongst the points.

All Aston Villa fans will be wondering which three players will be featuring in their teams. Selection will not take up much of the £100 million budget, so we will run you through the possible selections of each Villa player.

All prices and points are based on the official Premier League Fantasy Football.

Goalkeepers

Heaton 4.5 million, Nyland 4.0, Steer 4.0

Goalkeepers are a tricky one for any Villa fan given that Tom Heaton has confirmed he won’t be starting the games in September. The talk of signing a new keeper will leave fans hanging around until the last minute.

There’s has been no new signing with Emiliano Martinez heavily linked to come through the door ahead of the first game against Sheffield United. He is currently priced at £4.5million and will be a steal with the likely transfer dependent on the promise of first-team football.

However, it is unlikely that the current crop of Villa keepers’ will be popular within the selection of FF managers given that Villa only kept seven clean sheets throughout season, conceding 67 goals- the second-highest, behind Norwich.

Heaton scored 59 points in his half season so picking a goalie from a more defensively sound team will be a better option in the long run.
