3. Wing – Gonzalo Plata, Ecuador, 18.7, Sporting CP (Liga NOS)

Gonzalo Plata doesn’t even have a Wikipedia page, but I suspect that will change soon. The 18-year-old winger – officially on the books with Sporting Lisbon in Portugal – has starred in his country’s run to the semi-finals.

With two goals and 450 minutes across all 5 Ecuadorian matches, Plata turns heads with pace and powerful, controlled dribbling.

Ecuador will be favorites over South Korea in the semi-final, and Plata is one reason for that.
