Forwards:

Ryan Kent: Per the Sun, It has been reported that Aston Villa were preparing a move to sign Kent, regardless of promotion. This is good news, and sounds like it’s pretty much up to him. He would immediately fight for a starting spot.

Transfer Likelihood: 6/10

Joe Lolley: Another situation where it’s just all about the money. Should Villa pony up the £15million, Lolley would be theirs. Another wait-and-see approach.

Transfer Likelihood: 6.5/10

Kemar Roofe: See “wait-and-see” approach definition. Imagine the signing of his teammate Kalvin Phillips would increase the chances of Roofe making a move to B6.

Transfer Likelihood: 4.5/10

Tammy Abraham/Neal Maupay: I’m putting these two together as these seem like the utmost priorities for Aston Villa, as well as being the most widely reported upon. Both are rated at £20million+, but this is going to be where Villa splash their cash. We all know about Abraham. Maupay has played for Dean Smith before, and has shown that he can score goals in this system. Aston Villa will sign one of these players before the transfer window is over.

Transfer Likelihood: 10/10

Dwight Gayle: This is smoke.

Transfer Likelihood: 0/10

Anwar El Ghazi: £5million. Not sure why we’re still waiting on this.

Transfer Likelihood: 9.5/10

Marcus Tavernier: A new development, this comes amid interest from other PL clubs. Honestly, I don’t ever want the club to sign a single player from Boro , but that’s not what this is about. If his brother joins, perhaps he will too.

Transfer Likelihood: 3.5/10

Mbwana Samatta: He will play next season in the Premier League. There are at least 4 other teams (Watford, Brighton, Leicester, and Burnley) in line to sign the Ebony Shoe winner. (Best African-born player in Belgium) Since there are 5 teams interested, this is going to be a math-based prediction:

Transfer Likelihood: 2/10

Andre Ayew: Not another Ayew.

Transfer Likelihood: 0/10 (It’s higher than that but this one gets to be subjective.)

Daniel Sturridge: This was a very, very, very loose link, and will likely never amount to anything. Doesn’t really fit the system and will turn 30 this season.

Transfer Likelihood: 0/10

I’m sure there will be 20 new player links this month, so stay tuned. As always, UTV.
