Villans Abroad: Who’s in and who’s out for the FIFA international window?
Aston Villa teammate defenders James Chester and Neil Taylor once again answer the call for Wales. Led by Ryan Giggs at manager, the pair is set to face Denmark in a competitive UEFA Nations League match on the 16th and against Albania in a friendly on the 20th.
Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey, Joe Allen are all included, as are Derby pair Tom Lawrence and Harry Wilson, who we just saw play on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Villa will be well represented when the Republic of Ireland meets Northern Ireland on the 15th for a friendly and Denmark on the 19th for UEFA Nations League action. Glenn Whelan will lead Ireland out as captain vs. Northern Ireland in what will be his 85th cap. It could be the last time the 34-year old appears for the Emerald Isle. Conor Hourihane and Scott Hogan were recalled, as expected.
