Orjan Nyland is approaching Brad Guzan-levels of not being terrible, but conceding a s**t ton of goals. He didn’t have to make too many saves, but he was assured in his handling and distribution. The Norwegian needs to show this form on the road, and against better competition.. GK. Aston Villa. ORJAN NYLAND. 6.0

CM. Aston Villa. JOHN MCGINN. 5.5. Tough to judge McGinn. On one hand, he scored <em><strong>that </strong></em>goal with 90% passing accuracy. On the other, he was a big culprit in today’s loss with a number of confusing turnovers. It’s not helping that Bruce uses him in a double pivot, which is not a good position for him.
