Out-of-contract, June 2021:

RB – James Bree

LB – Neil Taylor

CM – Henri Lansbury

CF – Scott Hogan

Today’s players rarely play-out five year deals. This crew seems no different. James Bree is only 20, and despite being a Steve Bruce signing, he’s pushed quite far down the defensive ranks.

Neil Taylor has seen his left back spot stolen by Alan Hutton. Even so, an improvement at left back is probably needed for a Premier League team. Ditto for Henri Lansbury, who is buried below a few players in central midfield. Scott Hogan will have Jonathan Kodjia and others as competition at center-forward.
