Snodgrass needs to be dropped

Even though he provided the assist for Jedinak’s goal, Snodgrass had a very poor game overall. Much like his other performances in recent weeks, he proved to be rather ineffectual out on the right wing, with the game largely passing him by. His lack of pace should be counteracted by the supposed quality he possesses in creating chances and moving the ball forward in a positive manner. However, that was nowhere to be seen and the attitude he showed on the pitch was seriously below-par.

Consequently, the likes of Grealish or Elmo need to be played on the Villa right until Andre Green reaches full fitness, as having Snodgrass in the starting eleven is doing the team no favours. The extra competition brought by Green’s return will hopefully kick Snodgrass into gear and reverse his form.
