We covered the five players most likely to depart Aston Vila here. With that said, let’s see if Steve Bruce and the newly suspended Keith Wyness can raise some funds.

Mark Bunn is out of contract and thus far no extension talks have taken place. Both Jordan Veretout and Carles Gil spent time away on-loan last year. The two of them should combine for approximately £10 million on the transfer market.

Likewise, Jordan Amavi might be moved after losing his place to Neil Taylor in February. One stumbling block? The main suitor Atletico Madrid faces a transfer ban until January 2018. Amavi can still move to Madrid, but he will be ineligible to play until this time (similar to the one Barcelona faces a few short years ago; Arda Turan being one such example).

In any case Amavi should net £10 million to other teams in France, Spain, or the Premier League.

Moreover, Steve Bruce may move Tommy Elphick after one year at the club. Roberto Di Matteo’s ex-captain isn’t trusted to provide competition as a reserve central defender. ~£2 million estimated value.

Finally, Carlos Sanchez made his move to Fiorentina permanent and Libor Kozak already departed the club.
