3. ST – Sam Gallagher, 21
I covered Sam Gallagher quickly last month.
Gallagher’s versatility up top could mean the world to a club like Aston Villa. His suitability fits a number of system variants. Big Sam scored 11 goals for the relegated Blackburn Rovers; he is now returning to his parent club, Southampton.
Now at 21, Gallagher may feel he needs to move on in order to kick-start his career. There would be no better place to do it than at Aston Villa.
