2. Rushian Hepburn-Murphy, 18, striker

Aston Villa’s second best player under twenty is forward Rushian Hepburn-Murphy. Hepburn-Murphy, whose Vila contract saga ended in December, possesses special qualities in the final third.

A perennial scorer for the claret and blues U-23s, Hepburn-Murphy has several first team appearances to his name. Standing at 6’1″, RHM is capable of leading the line by himself, or in a partnership.

Had he not been out several months with an ankle injury, Hepburn-Murphy quite possibly would have been a fixture in the first team this season. For now, though, he is healthy and prepared for Villa’s final five league matches of the season.
