The mercurial Jack Grealish. Grealish induces a wide variety of opinions based on his form, fiery attitude, and off-the-field incidents.

The Birmingham-born Villa supporter has the talent to be one of England’s finest players. Two things are stopping him: his inconsistency on the pitch and penchant for picking up bookings.

It remains to be seen how Villa manager Steve Bruce will utilize Jack moving forward. In Bruce’s preferred 4-3-3/4-5-1, Grealish must either operate on his lesser-preferred left wing position, or in a central midfield role.

Furthermore, to operate in central midfield, he must claim the spot over one of: Henri Lansbury or Conor Hourihane.

Not that Super Jack has to be starting – the versatile attacker could serve as the first man off the bench. He has the ability to change matches when entering play. Every great team needs a great super-sub.

If not, Tony Xia could do the unthinkable and force a sale for Jack Grealish. The player’s services could net upwards of £15 million on the open market.
