RW – Albert Adomah, 29

Adomah retains his spot on the right wing where he often becomes the first sacrifice for the substitutes’ bench.

Adomah’s blazing pace and decent crossing ability assist in creating many goals for the striker below.

ST – Jonathan Kodjia, 27

Who else? Aston Villa’s leading goal scorer on nine league goals retains his position. The Ivory Coast international absolutely thrives with increased quality around him.

Between two fullbacks and two wingers worth of crosses and Conor Hourihane playing him in, Kodjia leads the league in scoring during the second-half of the season.

LW – Robbie Brady, 25

Aston Villa pay a premium for Robbie Brady’s services at £10.5 million. Brady, Ireland’s most talented player, chooses to leave Norwich City for different pastures after a falling out with the club.

Aston Villa beat many other clubs to his signature after Brady sees fellow signings: Johnstone, Jenkinson, Hourihane, and Lansbury join the team.

Robbie Brady assists on three Jonathan Kodjia headers in March alone.
