Steve Bruce was formally announced as the newest manager of Aston Villa Football Club. Who will he look to bring in come January?

Steve Bruce has a lot on his mind before Saturday’s local clash with Wolverhampton. Right now, reports out of Birmingham conclude he is busy tying down his preferred backroom staff.

With that being said, it’s never too early to speculate on who he could conceivably bring to Villa Park. After all, silly season is just two and a half months away. A couple of these players even have past links with Steve Bruce.

Position scarcity could lead to Steve Bruce bringing in heaping amounts of defensive quality.
