Very quickly–as to not spoil the article–I would be very surprised if Joleon Lescott made a single appearance with Aston Villa this season.

Kevin Toner is a bright defensive prospect. After four Villa appearances in the spring, I expect him to play in reserve team action for much of the season. Perhaps even a half-season loan to a lower league side. The Ireland youth international can use all the game time he can receive.
