Aston Villa’s 5-0 victory over Bristol City was a welcome relief to fans and manager.  Steve Bruce has come under scrutiny and criticism over the last few weeks.  This victory and the away win against Middlesborough have changed fortunes once again.

The two wins have rejuvenated Villa’s promotion push but questions are still relevant to Steve Bruce’s ability.  Whether it’s accident or design, the changes to team selection have injected attacking intent into what was a listless team.  There are plenty of things to take away from the last few days.  Here are five of them.
