Aston Villa are approaching the end of the league season with only twelve matches remaining. Currently sitting in 15th place, it is time for Villa to compile a list of players who will aid in next season’s promotion push.

Huddersfield Town extinguished Aston Villa’s three match winning streak with a narrow 1-0 victory. The claret and blue lay 17 points adrift of a top-six spot with twelve matches remaining.

What three Villa players are under the most pressure entering the summer transfer window? All three carry the same characteristics. They have either lost their spot in the starting lineup, or are in danger of losing it to a summer recruit.
